2021 Red Blend
Solano CountyThis limited release vintage was sourced from the resilient vineyards of brothers, John and Joe, in Vacaville, CA. Crafting a good wine starts in the vineyard and these two brothers, both immigrants from the Azores, Portugal, have a knack for producing quality fruit. Time and time again, this region in California, while surprising to many as that for winemaking, proves to be the perfect place to produce a well balanced, rich in flavor, Red Blend. A brilliant blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Sirah and Petit Verdot - aged in French oak barrels for 10 months.

2020 LV Red Blend
Solano CountyOur LV (Liberty Vine) Red Blend is named after the vineyard and childhood home of Calazor’s founder, Annemarie. As the debut for this brand’s launch, this blend is sourced from a small but mighty vineyard. Able to withstand the extreme heats that Vacaville bears, these vines also survived the uncertainty of the 2020 California wildfires. Only yards away from burning down, the vines proved resilient and untouched. The decision to pick our fruit in 2020 was a crapshoot, but everything happens for a reason. We are so proud of our 2020 Red Blend which sets the bar high for the standards we hold ourselves to for all Calazor’s varietals.
